Key facts
Day 1: Flight from the Ecuadorian Mainland to the Galapagos Islands – Santa Cruz Highlands -Charles Darwin Station.
In the morning, you will go to the airport by yourself and you will take your flight to Baltra airport, in the Galapagos Islands.
Upon your arrival at Baltra airport your private guide will be waiting for you with a signboard with your name then you will travel by bus to the Itabaca Channel followed by 5-minute ferry ride to Santa Cruz Island and then an hour’s drive to the town of Puerto Ayora you will check-in at your select hotel and you have free time to rest and you have time to enjoy your lunch.
In the afternoon, your guide will pick you up at your hotel and we will visit the famous Charles Darwin Research Station, they have been working on conservation, restoration and sustainable projects of the islands. In this place, you can enjoy facilities like an information center, a museum, a library a tortoise breeding center. At the tortoise breeding center, you can see tortoises of different species that are being prepared for reintroduction into their natural habitats.
Enjoy Puerto Ayora town you can explore it with your guide, you can find some stores with handicrafts and you can see the nightlife in Puerto Ayora.

Day 2: Tortuga Bay and transfer to Isabela.
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at your hotel and we will go on a trip to Tortuga Bay, a white-sand beach at this place you can see marine iguanas, Darwin Pinzon, and you can enjoy an amazing landscape of Brava and Mansa Beach. At this place, you can do kayaks with an instructor for one hour.
After lunch, you will leave for Isabela Island by public speed boat, a trip around 2 -1/2 hours, depending on sea conditions. Upon your arrival at the dock, your guide will be waiting for you with a signboard with your name.

Day 3: Hike to the Sierra Negra and Tintoreras
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up to the hotel and you will go to the Sierra Negra Volcano. After driving 40 minutes to the highlands of Isabela Island. We will start to hike up the volcano’s slopes to the edge of its crater, Sierra Negra has the second largest crater in the world.
Before the hiking, we will return to Puerto Villamil town and you will have time to enjoy your lunch.
In the afternoon, you will visit Las Tintoreras, taking a short boat trip to cross Isabela Island it takes 10 minutes from the dock to las Tintoreras, it is a small islet with a huge biodiversity it has a small beautiful bay, here we will take a short walk through an amazing landscape with many colonies of marine iguanas, and sea lions. This islet is one the most famous snorkeling site in Isabela Island you can see sea lions, marine turtles, sharks.

Day 4: Transfer to Santa Cruz Island – Return Flight to Quito.
You will leave early morning from Isabela Island (06:00 am) to Sant Cruz Island. When you arrive at Puerto Ayora Town your guide will be waiting for you with a signboard with your name. You will have breakfast in a local restaurant and enjoy your last time on the enchanted island.
Then you will be accompanied by a private guide to the Baltra airport for taking your flight to return to Quito.
