Overview
You will go to the Highlands Reserve to see fascinating Galapagos giant tortoises in the wild where you can take amazing pictures. And you will also have the opportunity to explore lava tunnels. Visit an amazing place how they are Cabo Rosa Tunnels at this place you can see several seabirds such as the Albatros, blue-footed Boobies, and also you can see species feeding like turtles, sea lions, manta rays, penguins.
Key facts
Day 1: Quito – Galapagos Islands – and transfer to Isabela by public speed boat.
In the morning. You will go to the airport by yourself and you will take your flight to Baltra airport, in the Galapagos Islands.
Upon your arrival at Baltra airport, your private guide will be waiting for you with a signboard with your name then you will travel by bus to the Itabaca Channel followed by a 5-minute ferry ride to Santa Cruz Island and then an hour’s drive to the town of Puerto Ayora.
You will leave for Isabela Island by public speed boat, a trip around 2 -1/2 hours, depending on sea conditions.
Upon your arrival at the dock, your guide will be waiting for you with a signboard with your name, you will check-in at your select hotel.

Day 2: Hike to the Sierra Negra – Tintoreras
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up to the hotel and you will go to the Sierra Negra Volcano. After driving 40 minutes to the highlands of Isabela Island. We will start to hike up the volcano’s slopes to the edge of its crater, Sierra Negra has the second largest crater in the world.
Before the hiking, we will return to Puerto Villamil town and you will have time to enjoy your lunch.
In the afternoon, you will visit Las Tintoreras, taking a short boat trip to cross Isabela Island it takes 10 minutes from the dock to Las Tintoreras, it is a small islet with a huge biodiversity it has a small beautiful bay, here we will take a short walk through an amazing landscape with many colonies of marine iguanas, and sea lions.
This islet is one the most famous snorkeling site in Isabela Island you can see sea lions, marine turtles, sharks.

Day 3: Navigation tour Los tuneles Cabo Rosa.
After breakfast, you will go to Cabo Rosa Tunnels, it is one of the most amazing snorkeling place Its waters are shallow, calm and clear, this place has geological formations as lava flows have formed many arches or tunnels.
At this place, you can see several seabirds such as the Albatros, blue-footed Boobies, and also you can see species feeding like turtles, sea lions, manta rays, penguins.
In the afternoon, you will have time to enjoy Puerto Villamil town or you can relax on the beach, for example, Concha Perla, where you will be able to swim and also it is possible to see some birds.

Day 4: Transfer to Santa Cruz by public speed boat – Santa Cruz Highlands – Tortuga Bay Beach
You will leave early morning from Isabela Island (06:00 am) to Sant Cruz Island. When you arrive at Puerto Ayora Town your guide will be waiting for you with a signboard with your name.
In the morning, after breakfast your guide will pick you up at your hotel, then you will go to the Highlands Reserve to see fascinating Galapagos giant tortoises in the wild where you can take amazing pictures. And you will also have the opportunity to explore lava tunnels. Then you have will time to enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant in the highlands and return to Puerto Ayora Town.
In the afternoon, you will go on a trip to Tortuga Bay, a white-sand beach at this place you can see marine iguanas, Darwin Pinzon, and you can enjoy an amazing landscape of Brava and Mansa Beach. At this place, you can do kayaks with an instructor for one hour.

Day 5: Transfer to Baltra Island – Return Flight to Quito.
After breakfast, you will have free time to enjoy your last lime in the Galapagos Islands.
Then you will be accompanied by a private guide to the Baltra airport for taking your flight to return to Quito.
