The Galapagos Islands are a paradise awesome, most of the areas are well naturally preserved. The islands received the prize to the best sustainable place in the American continent and were categorized as “Green Destinations” and a primary place to believe in the theory of evolution.

Key facts

Day 1: Flight from the Ecuadorian Mainland to the Galapagos Islands – Interpretation Center San Cristobal and Tijeretas.

In the morning, you will go to the airport by yourself and you will take your flight to the San Cristobal airport, in the Galapagos Islands.

Upon your arrival at San Cristobal airport, your private guide will be waiting for you with a signboard with your name then you will check-in at your select hotel, and prepare for the first excursion.

In the afternoon, your guide will pick you up at your hotel and we will go to the Interpretation center, it belongs to a project of “Plan of interpretation and Environmental Education for the Galapagos Islands”. At this place, we will through the history of the islands, you can enjoy some expositions such as natural history, human history, and conservation in the Islands. There is a second section where explains the reality of Galapagos Islands, problems and projects to conserve.

We will continue to go to Tijeretas Hill, it has this name because is the common name of the frigates. We will walk around 30 minutes and there are three viewpoints where you can enjoy the beautiful landscape.

Day 2: Tour 360.

After breakfast, tour 360 will start at 07:30 am. and you will take a boat this trip is around the San Cristobal Island and the first stop is Rosa Blanca Bay, it is located in Norwest, where you can find some small beaches but the main is “Playa Grande” and you can enjoy a beautiful landscape and you can see white-tipped sharks, rays, marine turtles. We will go to Punta Pitt at this place we can fish and we have 30 minutes for this activity at the same time we can have the opportunity to see some seabirds from the boat such as red-footed boobies and blue-footed boobies, masked boobies and frigates. We will continue our tour and we will stop in Sardina Bay, where we can enjoy its beach and we can see sea lions, rays and marine turtles.

The last stop is Kicker Rock Islet it looks like a sleeping lion. This place is one of the most famous and amazing snorkeling in the Galapagos Island where you can see sea lions, reef fish, rays, hammerhead shark, marine turtles.

Day 3: la Loberia - Transfer to Santa Cruz Island by public speed boat.

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at your hotel and we will go to La Loberia Beach, it is 10 minutes from the San Cristobal town, it is a coral sand beach and It has been named “La Loberia” because you can find plenty of sea lions on the rocks and sand.

We will walk through a trill where we can see marine iguanas and marine turtles and we can find button mangrove, white mangrove, palo santo.

After lunch, you will leave for to Santa Cruz Island by public speed boat a trip around 2 – ½ hours depending on sea conditions. Upon your arrival at the dock, your guide will be waiting for you with a signboard with your name. Then you will check-in at your select hotel.

Day 4: Santa Cruz Highlands - Garrapatero.

In the morning, after breakfast your guide will pick you up at your hotel, then you will go to the Highlands Reserve to see fascinating Galapagos giant tortoises in the wild, where you can take amazing pictures and you will also have the opportunity to explore lava tunnels. Then you have will time to enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant in the highlands.

In the afternoon you will go to Garrapatero beach, where you walk around 15 minutes to get in. It a beautiful beach with white sand and clear water. We can relax and enjoy nature. At this place, there is a lagoon where you can see flamingos, Galapagos finches, cucuves.

Day 5: Kayaking in Tortuga Bay – Charles Darwin.

After breakfast, you will go on a trip to Tortuga Bay, a white-sand beach at this place you can see marine iguanas, Darwin Pinzon, and you can enjoy an amazing landscape of Brava and Mansa Beach. At this place, you can do kayaks with an instructor for one hour. You will return to your hotel and you will have time to enjoy your lunch.

In the afternoon, your guide will pick you up at your hotel and we will visit the famous Charles Darwin Research Station, they have been working on conservation, restoration and sustainable projects of the islands. In this place, you can enjoy facilities like an information center, a museum, a library a tortoise breeding center. At the tortoise breeding center, you can see tortoises of different species that are being prepared for reintroduction into their natural habitats.

Enjoy Puerto Ayora town you can explore it with your guide, you can find some stores with handicrafts and you can see the nightlife in Puerto Ayora.

Day 6: Transfer to Baltra Island – Return Flight to Quito.

You will have a free time to enjoy your last time in the enchanted island.

Then you will be accompanied by a private guide to the Baltra airport for taking your flight to return to Quito.
